Temporary Power Planning and Project Information Checklist
A field-ready checklist of the information and coordination that help a temporary power estimate move forward.
Start with the site, not the equipment
Record the exact address, lot, intersection, or parcel; project type; number of active work areas; current phase; target start; and anticipated duration. Equipment and distribution decisions follow the confirmed project scope.
Identify the serving utility and jurisdiction
Utility service and local requirements can vary by address, even within one city. Confirm the serving power company and governing jurisdiction for the specific parcel instead of relying on a city-wide assumption.
Collect the available plans
A site plan, proposed pedestal location, distance to work areas, grading status, access notes, and known service information can help the team understand the request. Mark unknown items clearly rather than guessing.
Build timing around dependencies
Site readiness, applicable reviews or inspections, and utility scheduling can affect the sequence. TCS builds and prepares the temporary pedestal and distribution system. The power company makes the final connection to live power.
Estimate-request checklist
Include the project contact, jobsite location, project type and scale, requested timing, available plans, known utility, access constraints, and any related fencing, camera, generator, or fueling needs.
Ready to share the project?
The estimate form accepts early planning details and unknown technical answers.
